West St. Paul Police Arrest 2 Teens After Stolen SUV Pursuit, St. Paul

Two 17-year-old boys were arrested late Friday after allegedly stealing a Dodge Durango and leading police on a chase from West St. Paul into St. Paul. The pursuit began around 10:40 p.m. when officers spotted the stolen SUV at Robert Street South and Butler Avenue, but the suspects fled when police attempted a stop. A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter joined the pursuit, enabling officers to safely track the vehicle to the 900 block of Farrington Street in St. Paul. The suspects exited the vehicle and entered a nearby home, where they were later apprehended with assistance from St. Paul Police and the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. Both teens are currently being held at the Dakota County Juvenile Services Center. Authorities emphasized that the coordinated, multi-agency response helped minimize risk to the community and those involved.
