Search Underway for Missing Princeton Student Lauren Blackburn, 23

A search is underway for Lauren Blackburn, a 23-year-old Princeton University junior who has been missing since leaving Firestone Library around 6 p.m. on April 19. Blackburn, described as 6'2" tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, was last seen wearing blue jeans with torn knees, a yellow t-shirt, a black zippered hoodie, and blue flat-bottom shoes. Authorities began searching Lake Carnegie after a missing person's phone was detected in the area, utilizing dogs, drones, sonar, and K-9 units to aid the effort. Princeton's Department of Public Safety is leading the investigation and has noted increased law enforcement activity on campus. University officials have urged anyone with information to contact campus security and have provided support resources for concerned students. Vice President for Student Life W.
