Federal Juries Convict Turlock, Rockford Men on Child Pornography Charges

Two men have recently been convicted of child pornography offenses in separate federal cases. Edward Cragg, 46, from Turlock, California, was found guilty of downloading over 130 videos depicting the sexual abuse of children, including infants and toddlers, using a file-sharing program between 2015 and 2016. His sentencing is scheduled for December 8, 2025, with a potential prison term ranging from five to 20 years. Meanwhile, Stephen Canfield, 54, from Rockford, Illinois, was convicted on two counts of possession of child pornography after authorities discovered explicit images on his cellphone and Dropbox account following a cybertip to the Department of Homeland Security. Canfield's sentencing is set for February 27, 2026.
