Trail Blazers Retain Bjorkgren, Burrell, Hire Crawford

The Portland Trail Blazers have re-signed assistant coaches Nate Bjorkgren and Ronnie Burrell, as well as analytics coach Jacob Mooallem, to continue supporting head coach Chauncey Billups. Additionally, Quinton Crawford, who led the Stockton Kings to the 2024-25 G League championship and has NBA coaching experience with several teams including the Lakers and Suns, has been hired as a new assistant coach. The Blazers did not renew the contracts of assistants Roy Rogers, Chris Fleming, and Ryan Gomes following a 36-46 season. Bjorkgren notably served as the interim head coach for two games during the previous season, achieving a 2-0 record. Billups signed a two-year contract extension, allowing him to retool his coaching staff for the upcoming season. These changes reflect Portland's efforts to strengthen their coaching team ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
