JP Peace, Grandson of Fulmer, Commits to Vols

Tennessee football has secured its first commitment for the 2027 recruiting class with JP Peace, a linebacker from Knoxville West High School and the grandson of legendary Vols coach and former athletic director Phillip Fulmer. Peace, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 215 pounds, received offers from top programs including Florida State and Kentucky before choosing Tennessee. He is following in the footsteps of his father Robert Peace and grandfather Fulmer, making him a third-generation Vol. His commitment was solidified after attending key events such as the 'Big Orange BBQ' and camp sessions. In addition, Tennessee's 2026 class recently welcomed Luke Thompson, a three-star safety from Franklin High School, whose father, mother, and grandfather all competed for the Vols.
