Pakistan, Bangladesh Confirm T20I Series Dates
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan from May 25 to June 3 for a five-match T20I series, replacing the previously planned ODIs to help both teams prepare for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The matches will be played at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium—hosting international cricket for the first time in 17 years—and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with all games scheduled for 8pm local time. Bangladesh is set to arrive in Pakistan on May 21 to begin preparations. In advance of the series, the PCB has shortlisted five players—Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and Ali Raza—based on their strong performances in the ongoing PSL. Farhan currently leads all global T20 run-scorers for 2025, and Hasan Ali tops the PSL wicket charts. The final squad announcement is expected soon as both teams gear up for this key World Cup warm-up.
