VinFast Launches VF6, VF7 Electric SUVs in India From ₹16.49 Lakh

Vietnamese automaker VinFast has officially launched its electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in India with competitive pricing and a strong feature set. The VF6, starting at Rs 16.49 lakh, comes in three variants—Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity—with a 59.6 kWh battery offering up to 468 km claimed range, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, and a minimalist interior centered around a 12.9-inch touchscreen. The VF7, positioned as VinFast's flagship model, is priced between Rs 20.89 lakh and Rs 25.49 lakh, powered by a 70.8 kWh battery, with front-wheel and all-wheel drive options delivering up to 450 km range, and features like a panoramic sunroof, vegan leather interiors, and advanced driver assistance systems. Both models include free charging until July 2028, free maintenance for three years, and extended warranties—seven years for the VF6 and ten years for the VF7. Locally assembled in Tamil Nadu, these SUVs compete with established electric models in India by combining style, technology, and affordability, with safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and multiple airbags. VinFast aims to attract young drivers and performance seekers alike, positioning these vehicles strongly in the expanding Indian EV market.
