Carnival Launches 2027 Alaska Cruises From Seattle, San Francisco

Carnival Cruise Line has announced its comprehensive 2027 schedule, featuring more than 50 Alaska itineraries served by three ships: Carnival Spirit and Carnival Legend homeporting in Seattle, and Carnival Luminosa sailing from San Francisco. The line will offer unique repositioning cruises, including a 23-day Transpacific journey from Sydney to San Francisco and a 16-day Panama Canal voyage marking Carnival's first visit to Acapulco in 17 years. Carnival Spirit will provide 20 week-long Alaska cruises starting April 29, while Carnival Legend will offer 22 seven-night voyages from Seattle beginning April 20, along with a 16-day Hawaii cruise in September. Carnival Luminosa will also sail 10-day Alaska cruises and several four-day Baja Mexico cruises, catering to shorter getaway options. Additionally, Carnival is expanding its New Orleans capacity by relocating the larger Carnival Dream to Port NOLA in May 2027, joining Carnival Liberty and offering various Western Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries. Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, highlighted the blend of Alaska's natural beauty with Carnival's signature fun, emphasizing the popularity and advance planning for these cruises.
