Kansai Electric Advances Mihama Nuclear Reactor Project

Kansai Electric Power Co. has announced plans to conduct geological and topographical surveys for a next-generation nuclear reactor at its Mihama plant in Fukui Prefecture, marking Japan's first such project since the 2011 Fukushima disaster.
