Penn State, Pitt, Arizona State, TCU Compete in Volleyball Showcase

Penn State men's volleyball will face Daemen University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 2, marking the first-ever NCAA postseason meeting between the two teams. Despite a challenging season with an 11-15 record, Penn State secured its tournament spot by sweeping Princeton in the EIVA championship, continuing its streak with a 35th NCAA appearance. The match winner will claim the seventh seed and advance to play No. 2 seed Hawaii in the tournament quarterfinals. Daemen earned its place by winning the NEC Tournament, making its first NCAA tournament appearance. Several Penn State players received all-EIVA honors for their performances this season. This expanded NCAA tournament features nine teams for the first time, with the opening round streamed on ESPN+.
