United Way Days of Caring Mobilize Thousands Across Canada, Arizona

The United Way's annual Days of Caring events continue to mobilize volunteers across North America to support local communities through hands-on projects such as repair work, gardening, painting, and cleaning. In Saskatchewan, Blue Cross team members participated in the event to help local families and communities. In Kingston, Ontario, over 400 volunteers from 28 workplaces are set to work on 38 projects, marking more than 25 years of the event’s impact in the region, with activities including a kickoff and wrap-up BBQ. Tucson, Arizona, is preparing for its 26th Annual Days of Caring scheduled for October 24 and 25, aiming to match over 100 projects with thousands of volunteers, building on last year’s 1,600 volunteers and 4,800 volunteer hours. The Tucson event offers project registration incentives and weekly assistance sessions to encourage participation. These coordinated efforts highlight the significant role United Way plays in fostering community support and volunteerism nationwide.
