Islamic MPs Urge OIC Action on Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

A coalition of parliamentarians from 10 countries has called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take urgent and coordinated actions to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, proposing a seven-point plan including a unified aid convoy, diplomatic pressure, and legal action against Israeli leaders for war crimes. Hamas condemned Israel's repeated strikes on the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital as war crimes and called for immediate intervention by international bodies such as the Arab League, the OIC, and the United Nations to protect civilians and infrastructure. International religious leaders at a summit in Kuala Lumpur also condemned the violence in Gaza and advocated for a two-state solution, urging global political and diplomatic support for Palestinian rights. Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces have mobilized 60,000 reservists around Gaza City, preparing for a possible final assault, while protests inside Gaza demand international intervention, including appeals directly to President Donald Trump. In the corporate sphere, over 2,000 Microsoft employees have accused the company of complicity in Israel’s actions in Gaza through the use of its technology by the Israeli military, resulting in protests and some firings, with Microsoft conducting an independent review amid these allegations.
