Oregon Defeats USC 78-69 in Men's Basketball

Oregon's Jackson Shelstad scored 20 points, 15 of which came in the first half, as the Ducks beat USC 78-69 on Thursday. Shelstad made all six of his first-half shots, including three from beyond the arc, and Oregon (15-6, 7-3 in Pac-12) led for almost the entire game after opening a double-digit lead within the first five minutes. The Trojans (8-13, 2-8) lost their sixth straight, with Boogie Ellis' 17 points leading the way. Oregon has now won seven of its last eight games after starting conference play 0-3.
