Meyers, who requested a trade this offseason and has posted solid statistics, is considered a potential No. 2 receiver for Pittsburgh, while Waddle is also a valuable option though the Dolphins have shown no inclination to trade him. The Steelers' urgency to acquire another receiver follows the offseason trade of George Pickens to Dallas and the limited production from other receivers besides Metcalf and Calvin Austin.
