KIIT University Rises to 184th in Asia Rankings, 8th in India

KIIT Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar has made a significant leap in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2025, rising to 184th in Asia from last year’s 196th position. The university is now ranked as the 8th best in India among both government and private institutions and remains the leading Deemed University in Eastern and Northern India. Additionally, KIIT stands out by being ranked 2nd in India for Sports Science. This year’s rankings assessed 853 universities across 35 countries based on research, teaching, knowledge transfer, and international outlook, using 18 performance indicators. KIIT’s continued ascent is attributed to the collective efforts of its faculty, staff, students, and alumni, along with its mission-driven values. The university also holds major international accreditations and continues to appear in other prestigious global rankings.
