Amphenol Acquires CommScope CCS for $10.5 Billion

Amphenol Corporation has reached a definitive agreement to acquire CommScope's Connectivity and Cable Solutions (CCS) business for $10.5 billion in cash, aiming to bolster its presence in the data center and IT datacom markets. The acquisition is expected to add approximately $3.6 billion in annual sales and deliver EBITDA margins of 26%, with Amphenol forecasting the deal to be accretive to earnings in the first full year after completion.
