Multiple Cannabis Farms Found in Kirkdale, Leeds, Shropshire; Several Arrested

Police in multiple regions have conducted raids leading to the discovery of cannabis farms and seizures of drugs with significant street values. In Kirkdale, Merseyside, two women aged 32 and 57 were arrested after officers found 27 cannabis plants and Class A and B drugs during a plain clothes operation. Inspector Chris Taylor emphasized the risks associated with cannabis cultivation, such as fire hazards and anti-social behavior, and urged the public to provide information anonymously to aid ongoing investigations. In Leeds, a man was charged after a raid uncovered 37 cannabis seedlings in a sophisticated setup valued at up to £20,000, with no other drug-dealing paraphernalia found. Similarly, in Minsterley, Shropshire, a man and a woman were arrested after police discovered cannabis estimated to be worth about £45,000, along with Class A drugs and cash in a second property. Both suspects in Shropshire have been released on bail as investigations continue.
