Heidi Klum transformed into a lifelike Medusa at her annual Heidiween party in New York City, arriving in a full-body scaly ensemble with writhing animatronic snakes, fanged dentures, lizard-eye contacts and a long rattlesnake-like tail. She said the look took about 10 hours to apply, involved a large team and dozens of hand-painted prosthetics, with makeup work credited to veteran artist Mike Marino. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, complemented the theme as a Greek soldier turned to stone, and Klum stayed in character—hissing at photographers and warning, "Don't stare too long or you'll turn to stone."
