Homeless Man Jailed Life Murdering London Woman Helping Him

Victoria Adams, a 37-year-old mother of four in Hammersmith, west London, was tragically murdered by Apapale Adoum, a homeless man she had met at a shelter and invited into her home for shelter and protection. Just two days after meeting, Adams asked Adoum to leave, at which point he brutally attacked her with a mallet, inflicting at least 10 injuries to her head before killing her. Police found her body covered with a black bin bag and pillow, and Adoum, who had a history of violence and was found carrying weapons at his arrest, pleaded guilty to the murder. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 21 years.
