Five Bay Area Juveniles Arrested for June San Jose Casino Armed Robbery

Five male juveniles from Livermore, ranging in age from 12 to 18, were arrested in connection with an armed robbery and assault outside a San Jose casino on June 23, 2025. The suspects confronted a male victim as he exited the casino, with one brandishing a firearm and striking the victim with its handle before fleeing with approximately $2,000 and other belongings. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. San Jose Police Department detectives, with assistance from Livermore police and the SJPD Covert Response Unit, identified the suspects, obtained arrest and search warrants, and recovered evidence linking them to the crime during searches of their residences. All five juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall on charges including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and brandishing a firearm.
