Authorities Arrest Second Suspects in Multiple US Deadly Shootings

Several recent shootings across different U.S. cities have resulted in multiple arrests and ongoing investigations. In Katy, Texas, Tyler Jordan was federally charged with possessing an unregistered machine gun connected to a March McDonald's shooting that killed Jorge Arbaiza, with the gun modified to fire automatically. Charlotte police arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the June shooting death of 15-year-old Avion Amelle Dingle, charging him with murder and related offenses; a 15-year-old suspect had previously been charged. Houston authorities apprehended Javeon Washington and Tyrell Robinson for the May fatal shooting of 20-year-old Jermon Williams, with charges ranging from capital murder to murder. Another Houston case involves 16-year-old Carnell Anderson and 19-year-old Cameron Ray, both charged in the May death of 16-year-old Davion Elzy at a convenience store, with a court order allowing the release of the juvenile suspect's identity. Meanwhile, in Edinburgh, a second man was arrested following a July shooting that seriously injured a 23-year-old man, with police continuing investigations.
