Madison Cunningham has released the single "Wake," featuring Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold, as a preview of her forthcoming album Ace, set for release on October 10 via Verve Forecast. The song, described as a reflective ballad centered on vocal harmonies between Cunningham and Pecknold, was praised by Pecknold for Cunningham's masterful performance and inspired collaboration. Ace is a 14-track album co-produced by Cunningham and Robbie Lackritz, following her 2022 Grammy-winning album Reveler and her 2023 collaboration with Andrew Bird on the covers album Cunningham Bird.
