MI Emirates Sign Pollard Pooran as ILT20 2025 Wildcards

MI Emirates has named West Indian stars Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard as their wildcard picks for the fourth season of the International League T20 (ILT20) set to run from December 2, 2025, to January 4, 2026, across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. This duo reunites after winning titles together with the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League and MI New York in Major League Cricket earlier this year. Pollard, a seasoned player with 18 T20 titles including five IPL wins, brings significant experience and leadership to the team, while Pooran remains a sought-after power hitter despite retiring from international cricket at 29. MI Emirates also boasts other Caribbean talents like Andre Fletcher, who was the highest bid at the ILT20 auction, along with Ackeem Auguste and Romario Shepherd. The addition of Pooran and Pollard strengthens MI Emirates' roster as they aim to defend their ILT20 title and compete vigorously in a tournament featuring six teams and 34 matches. The team will start their campaign against Gulf Giants on December 4, following the opening match of the tournament on December 2.
