Upper Deck, NASCAR Debut Superman Race Car, Trading Cards at EchoPark

Upper Deck, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and NASCAR's 23XI Racing team, has launched an exclusive Superman-themed trading card set coinciding with the upcoming release of the DC Studios film "Superman" directed by James Gunn. The highlight of this collaboration is the Superman x 23XI race car, sponsored by Upper Deck and driven by Tyler Reddick in the No. 45 Toyota Camry XSE, set to debut on June 28 at the NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway near Atlanta. This race will be the first 2025 Cup Series event broadcast live on TNT, and the trading cards will be released in two waves on Upper Deck's online platform, e-Pack, with the first drop available now and the second on race day. The partnership marks Upper Deck’s first licensed card set for 23XI Racing and expands an ongoing relationship that began in 2024, with the team co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. Upper Deck President Jason Masherah emphasized the innovative crossover as a unique way to engage both Superman and NASCAR fans, while 23XI Racing President Steve Lauletta highlighted the goal to creatively connect with fans through new collecting experiences. The Superman movie is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 11.
