Burnley Set to Sign Armando Broja from Chelsea

Burnley are close to finalizing the permanent signing of Chelsea striker Armando Broja for a reported fee of around £20 million on a five-year contract. Broja, 23, is eager to join the newly-promoted Premier League side to revive his career after struggling with injuries, including an ACL tear in December 2022 and subsequent ankle and Achilles problems. Managed by Scott Parker, Burnley see Broja as an important addition to bolster their attack for their return to the top flight. The Albanian international has had loan spells at Southampton, Fulham, Everton, and Vitesse, and made 38 senior appearances for Chelsea. The transfer is expected to be finalized following Broja's medical. Chelsea are actively restructuring their squad, signing new forwards and selling several players as part of a broader rebuild.
