Strategy Buys 10,100 More BTC, Hits 592,100 Total
Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy and led by Michael Saylor, has increased its Bitcoin holdings to 592,100 BTC after acquiring an additional 10,100 BTC for $1.05 billion at an average price of $70,666 per coin. The purchase was primarily funded through preferred stock offerings, including STRD, STRK, and STRF. Strategy is now the third-largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, after Binance and Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet. The company's aggressive 'buy and hold' approach has resulted in a 19.1% year-to-date yield in 2025 and a 3,000% rise in its stock price since 2020. Management acknowledges significant risks, including market volatility and custodial issues, associated with this concentrated strategy. Michael Saylor continues to promote Bitcoin globally, including through discussions with governments such as Pakistan about crypto adoption.
