Eric Dane, best known for 'Grey’s Anatomy' and 'Euphoria,' has shared that his ALS diagnosis has now resulted in complete loss of function on his right side and progressive deterioration of his left side, raising concerns about potential loss of leg mobility. He began experiencing symptoms over a year ago, leading to a nine-month diagnostic process. Dane recounted a recent near-drowning incident where his teenage daughter rescued him, highlighting the daily challenges he faces. Despite the emotional toll, Dane remains optimistic and is focused on spending time with his family, maintaining his role on 'Euphoria' as long as possible, and embracing a renewed closeness with his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, after their reconciliation. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is incurable and ultimately fatal, though treatments may slow its progression. Dane is determined not to let the disease define him.
