Four Killed in Turlock Car Crash

A tragic two-car crash in Turlock, California, on December 17, 2024, resulted in the deaths of Jennifer Lourenco, her husband Daniel, and their 16-year-old daughter Madelynn, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, Uriel Guizar-Negrete. The collision occurred when Guizar-Negrete, reportedly driving at high speed, ran a stop sign and collided with the Lourenco family's Jeep. All members of the Lourenco family were wearing seatbelts, but two other children sustained serious injuries and are hospitalized. Jennifer Lourenco was a respected teacher at Sinclear Elementary School, and the community is mourning the loss. The investigation is ongoing, and although alcohol or drugs have not been confirmed as factors, witnesses estimated the Infiniti was traveling around 100 mph. The school district and local high school are providing counseling services to support students and staff during this difficult time.
