Travis Jett Appointed to Oklahoma Supreme Court

Governor Kevin Stitt appointed Travis Jett, a private practice attorney from Woodward, to the Oklahoma Supreme Court, marking Stitt's fourth appointment to the court. Jett, notable for his lack of prior judicial experience, has extensive legal experience representing various state agencies and private clients. He succeeds Justice Yvonne Kauger, who lost her retention election after serving since 1984. The Judicial Nominating Commission selected Jett, along with two district judges, as finalists for the vacancy. Jett has committed to upholding the rule of law with fairness and integrity.
