BritBox Plans Contemporary Tommy & Tuppence Adaptation

BritBox is developing a six-part contemporary adaptation of Agatha Christie's detective duo Tommy and Tuppence, marking the first modern English-language TV version of the characters. The series, written by Phoebe Eclair-Powell in her first drama commission, will blend screwball comedy, playful romance, and thrilling murder mysteries, set in present-day Hampstead, London. Produced by Lookout Point in association with Agatha Christie Limited and BBC Studios handling global sales, the show promises a fun mix of romance and mystery. While casting details have yet to be announced, production is scheduled to begin later this year. This adaptation joins BritBox's extensive collection of Christie works including Towards Zero, Murder is Easy, Poirot, and Marple.
