Southfield Woman Fatally Shot; Suspect Identified

Southfield police are investigating a fatal shooting late Sunday that left an adult woman dead at a home in the 18000 block of Bainbridge Drive near 13 Mile and Southfield roads; officers and Southfield Fire & Rescue responded around 11:30–11:40 p.m. The woman was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say the victim and the suspect knew each other and that police have identified a suspect, but no name or description has been released and the shooter remains at large.
