WEF Launches Independent Investigation into Founder Klaus Schwab's Allegations

The allegations include using junior staff for personal errands, disguising luxury travel as business, and exploiting WEF property for private purposes. The letter, reportedly from current and former WEF employees, also highlights broader concerns about governance failures and discrimination within the organization. In response, the WEF board has unanimously supported an independent investigation, with external legal counsel guiding the process. Schwab and his wife deny all accusations and have threatened legal action against those spreading the claims. The board has appointed Peter Brabeck-Letmathe as interim chairman while the investigation is ongoing.
