Amazon Finalizes NBA Broadcast Team for Next Fall

Amazon Prime Video is expanding its NBA broadcast team ahead of its first season under the league's new 11-year, $76 billion media rights deal starting next fall. Stan Van Gundy, a longtime TNT analyst and former NBA head coach, has been hired as a game analyst, joining lead play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle. Steve Nash, Blake Griffin, and Dirk Nowitzki are set for pregame and postgame analyst roles, with Taylor Rooks as the lead studio host. Amazon is also considering additional analyst hires, including Richard Jefferson and Dwyane Wade. This shift comes as TNT ends its decades-long NBA relationship and ESPN, NBC, and Amazon become the league's primary broadcast partners.
