WrestleMania 42 Teased; AEW Dynamite Delivers Big Night

Monday’s WWE Raw in Anaheim served as the final show before Saturday Night’s Main Event on Nov. 1, 2025 and built toward SNME with a cryptic social campaign that revealed WrestleMania 42 will return to Las Vegas, a payoff many fans found underwhelming. The episode staged a heated in-ring promo between CM Punk and Jey Uso — Punk taunted Uso as "Little Roman" while Uso showed a darker edge — continuing the build toward the SNME World Heavyweight picture. Penta faced Rusev in a No. 1 contender match for Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Championship that ended in disqualification after outside interference; the Women’s Tag Title match featured Bayley & Lyra Valkyria against champions Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Bella returned to face Roxanne Perez. Separately, AEW’s Fright Night Dynamite ran multiple No. 1 contender matches, kicked off a new Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament (Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata selecting Sisters of Sin), and saw FTR win a four‑way to earn a tag title shot at Full Gear. Dynamite also featured a Don Callis Family summit and a surprise Konosuke Takeshita appearance (booked to team with Kazuchika Okada on Collision), while AEW confirmed Penelope Ford is out of the tag tournament with a torn UCL. Reports indicate WWE plans to hold the 2026 Elimination Chamber in Chicago on Feb. 28, with SmackDown, NXT and an AAA show tentatively slotted the same weekend.
