Multiple Unexploded World War Two Bombs Discovered Across UK

A historic unexploded World War Two mortar was discovered on the banks of the River Arun near Queen Street in Arundel, West Sussex. Sussex Police and the Royal Navy's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team worked together to safely remove and dispose of the ordnance after tide conditions delayed access until Saturday morning. A precautionary cordon was established, restricting access via Queen Street, the High Street, and the Causeway, but it was lifted once the bomb was safely dealt with.
