ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Across India, Sri Lanka

The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, taking place from September 30 to November 2 across five venues including Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo. The tournament features eight teams competing in a round-robin format, with India opening the event in Bengaluru. Colombo serves as a neutral venue for Pakistan's matches and will host knockout games if Pakistan qualifies, reflecting ongoing political tensions between India and Pakistan and following a hybrid venue model previously used for the men's Champions Trophy. The first semifinal will be held in Guwahati or Colombo, while the second and the final will be in Bengaluru or Colombo depending on Pakistan's progression. Additionally, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be hosted by England, starting on June 12 at Edgbaston with England playing the opening match, and the semifinals and final slated for the Oval and Lord’s, respectively. These tournaments underscore the ICC’s commitment to advancing women’s cricket globally while navigating geopolitical complexities.
