Raptors' Jared Rhoden Out 4-6 Months After Shoulder Surgery

Toronto Raptors guard Jared Rhoden underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder and is expected to miss four to six months while rehabbing. The injury, which occurred late in the season, will keep Rhoden out of all offseason activities, including Summer League, and may impact his availability for the start of training camp in the fall. Rhoden played for both the Charlotte Hornets and the Raptors during the 2024-25 season, averaging 8.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists over 14 games, with a standout performance of 25 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists against the Philadelphia 76ers. After signing a two-year, two-way contract with Toronto in March, Rhoden is under contract for the 2025-26 season. His absence leaves Toronto with one open two-way roster slot to fill this summer. The team expects Rhoden to work toward a full recovery in hopes of returning for the upcoming season.
