Multiple Federal Fugitives Arrested in Kentucky, Rhode Island
Three fugitives wanted on serious charges were recently apprehended across Kentucky and Rhode Island after being on the run for extended periods. Steven Sumner, wanted on Level 1 felony child molestation charges stemming from an Indiana State Police investigation, was arrested near Winchester, Kentucky, following a multi-agency effort involving the U.S. Marshals. In East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Alvin Fang, who had multiple federal warrants related to large-scale marijuana possession and conspiracy, was taken into custody after a noise complaint led police to his residence. In Laurel County, Kentucky, deputies arrested Joseph Money, a 66-year-old wanted on federal escape charges and considered armed and dangerous, after responding to a prowler complaint near Tom Town Hollow Road. Money was arrested without incident and is presently held awaiting extradition. These arrests highlight ongoing law enforcement efforts to capture fugitives with serious outstanding warrants.
