Dead & Company Shows Stream Globally, IMAX Simulcast Added
Dead & Company will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Grateful Dead with three sold-out concerts at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park from August 1 to 3, featuring special guests Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson (as Johnny Blue Skies), and the Trey Anastasio Band. All three concerts will be available globally via pay-per-view livestream in HD and 4K through nugs.net, with livestream tickets including 60 days of complimentary nugs.net access. The final show on August 3 will also be simulcast live in select IMAX theaters across the U.S. and Canada, with screenings starting at 6 p.m. PT and expected to run about 3.5 hours with an intermission; tickets include a commemorative poster and lanyard. The city of San Francisco is marking the milestone with themed public transit and street markets to involve fans beyond the venue. Despite announcing the end of touring, Dead & Company continues to perform for special occasions. Tickets for the IMAX screenings and livestream are currently available, allowing fans worldwide to participate in the celebration.
