TNPL's CEO confirmed no evidence supported the claims after a detailed review, emphasizing that TNCA-issued towels were available to both teams and that match officials maintained full oversight of the ball. The league described the complaint as speculative, post-facto, and flagged it for being filed late and outside proper channels. Madurai Panthers have until June 17 to submit credible evidence if they seek an independent enquiry. The TNPL warned that baseless or defamatory allegations could result in disciplinary action under league rules. Dindigul Dragons, defending champions, won the match in question.
