Lewis Hamilton Drives Authenticity in Brad Pitt F1 Film
Brad Pitt's upcoming Formula One movie, set for international release on June 25 and North American release on June 27, features significant input from seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who served as executive producer, story inspiration, and technical consultant. Hamilton provided specific racing advice and coached both Pitt and co-star Damson Idris to ensure authenticity in depicting F1. Director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer emphasized that Hamilton's involvement was crucial to the project, which was produced with the cooperation of all 10 F1 teams and Liberty Media. Hamilton also appears in the film and praised Pitt’s dedication and understanding of F1 after hands-on training. Beyond film, Hamilton continues his advocacy for educational equity through his Mission 44 foundation, including recent collaboration with UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer. The movie also aims to increase Formula 1’s popularity, particularly in the American market.
