Darren Bailey Family Killed in Helicopter Crash

Four members of Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey's family — his son Zachary, daughter‑in‑law Kelsey, and two grandchildren, 12‑year‑old Vada Rose and 7‑year‑old Samuel — were killed in a helicopter crash in Montana on Wednesday evening, the Bailey campaign said. The crash was reported near Ekalaka, Montana, at about 7:20 p.m. local time, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
