Apartment Rental Prices Stable Across Multiple US Cities Since Last Year

An analysis from rental marketplace Zumper reveals that apartment listing prices in several U.S. cities, including Lafayette, Indiana; St. Cloud, Minnesota; Augusta, Georgia; and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, have remained mostly stable compared to last year. In Lafayette, the median rent was $1,211 in July, with one-bedroom prices slightly increasing and two-bedroom prices slightly decreasing year-over-year, all below the state and national medians. St. Cloud saw a median rent of $849, with one-bedroom rents dropping 13% since last year but two-bedroom rents rising 8%, and rental prices remain significantly below state and national medians. Augusta's median rent stood at $1,250, with minor fluctuations in bedroom-specific rents and prices consistently below state and national averages. Sheboygan's median rent was $1,214, with notable decreases in one- and two-bedroom rents compared to last year, also below state and national levels. Nationwide, apartment rents have remained steady, with one-bedroom and two-bedroom median rents holding near last month's figures, emphasizing generally stable rental markets across these regions.
