Producers of RDX Film Accused of Fraud

An FIR has been filed against 'RDX' producers Sophia Paul and James Paul for alleged embezzlement and failure to distribute promised profits. The complaint was lodged by co-producer Anjana Abraham, who invested ₹6 crore into the film, claiming she was guaranteed a full return and a 30% share of the profits. Despite the film's success, Anjana states she has only received her initial investment, prompting her legal action under serious IPC sections related to fraud. The case is now being investigated by the Tripunithura Police, raising concerns about financial transparency in the film industry. This situation is compounded by an ongoing lawsuit, where Sophia Paul accuses director Nahas Hidhayath of breaching contract terms by not directing a subsequent film for her production company.
