Sentebale Charity Faces Crisis as Trustee Resigns After Duke's Exit

Prince Harry's charity, Sentebale, has experienced further upheaval as another trustee, Nerissa Naidu, resigned just weeks after joining the board, following the earlier departures of Harry, co-founder Prince Seeiso, and several other trustees. Naidu's resignation leaves Sentebale with only three trustees—the minimum required—amid ongoing internal strife and public allegations of poor governance, bullying, harassment, misogyny, and 'misogynoir' from the charity's chairwoman, Dr. Sophie Chandauka. Chandauka has also accused Harry of trying to use the charity to bolster his wife's public image, claims Harry has vehemently denied as 'blatant lies.' The recent turbulence has prompted an investigation by the UK's Charity Commission, which both Harry and Sentebale leadership have welcomed in hopes of clarifying the circumstances that led to multiple resignations. Sentebale, founded in 2006 by Harry and Prince Seeiso to support vulnerable youth in Southern Africa, has publicly acknowledged these have been particularly difficult times for the organization.
