2025 High School Sports Honors Span U.S. States

High school athletes from across the U.S. have been honored with all-conference and all-star selections for their performances in the 2025 baseball, softball, and soccer seasons. In Illinois, Wilmington and Coal City each placed five players on the All-Illinois Central Eight Conference baseball team, with Wilmington's Mike Bushnell named Coach of the Year, while Manteno secured its second straight softball title and led with five selectees. California's top softball players, including Norco’s Coral Williams and Marina’s Mia Valbuena, were highlighted by the Los Angeles Times, with several recognized as future collegiate athletes. Florida’s Miss Manatee All-Star fastpitch softball teams won the 10U and 8U Miss Florida Championships undefeated. In East Texas, the Tyler Morning Telegraph honored soccer standouts Lauren Wade, Paige Whiddon, Axel Ruben, and Mario Escalante, and Brook Hill achieved a consecutive boys’ state soccer title. These awards reflect the breadth of outstanding team and individual accomplishments across the 2025 prep sports landscape.
