The new channels feature celebrity-driven content, including a 50 Cent-curated action channel, a Deal or No Deal game show channel, and specialized offerings from Lionsgate, as well as channels dedicated to Wendy Williams, Weeds, and Nurse Jackie. The expansion aims to attract new customers by providing a diverse range of on-demand entertainment while maintaining an ad-supported, no-fee model accessible across popular streaming devices. Meanwhile, Apple has rolled out updates to its TV app to simplify navigation and improve the user experience by reorganizing the home screen, making it clearer which content is available with an Apple TV+ subscription and which comes from other streaming services. These changes, introduced through iOS and backend updates, group similar sections together—such as Top 10 Apple TV+ shows, new releases, and sports content—making it easier for users to find what they're looking for. Both platforms are responding to viewer demand for more accessible and user-friendly streaming experiences.
