CBS Orders Vampire Comedy Pilot Eternally Yours

CBS has ordered a pilot for a new supernatural comedy titled "Eternally Yours," created by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the showrunners behind the popular series "Ghosts." The single-camera sitcom centers on a vampire couple married for 500 years who struggle to accept the human dating their daughter. The project, which was in development since August 2024, has gathered a writers' room and is now moving forward with a pilot, with no cast or production timeline announced yet. Port and Wiseman will write and executive produce the pilot alongside Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang, continuing their overall deal with CBS Studios. "Ghosts" is set to premiere its fifth season on October 16 and has been renewed for a sixth season through 2026-27, with "Eternally Yours" likely targeting the 2026-27 lineup if picked up. This new series marks CBS's ongoing investment in supernatural comedies, alongside other programming updates such as the workplace comedy "DMV."
