2025 NCAA Track and Field Championships Preview

The 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for June 11-14 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, featuring over 250 institutions competing in more than 20 men's and women's events. The event will be broadcast on ESPN networks. Highlights include seven returning champions, such as Bowerman contender Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan seeking a fourth straight men's shot put title, and Alabama's Doris Lemngole, who continues to break NCAA steeplechase records. Other notable athletes include New Mexico's Habtom Samuel and USC's JC Stevenson, who aims for an outdoor long jump title. Championship field selections are to be announced on June 3, with qualifying beginning March 1. Additionally, Duke and UNC will host NCAA baseball super regionals as both programs aim for College World Series berths.
