Celtic Players Dominate PFA Player of the Year Shortlists

Celtic have dominated the shortlist for the PFA Scotland Premiership Player of the Year awards, with Callum McGregor, Daizen Maeda, and Nicolas Kuhn all recognized for their roles in securing the club's fourth consecutive title. Dundee's Simon Murray, level with Maeda as joint top scorer, is the only non-Celtic nominee in the category. Celtic's Arne Engels has been nominated for Young Player of the Year following an impressive debut season, and he is joined by Motherwell's Lennon Miller, Hearts' James Wilson, and Rangers' Hamza Igamane. The awards, voted for by fellow players, highlight the strong performances by Celtic athletes, with Kuhn and Maeda both posting significant goal and assist tallies. In the women's categories, Celtic's Emma Lawton is among the SWPL nominees. The winners will be announced at the upcoming PFA Scotland ceremony in early May.
